The 3M Rugged Comfort 6500 Series Half Facepiece Reusable Respirator is designed to promote comfort, durability, and stability with a firm, lightly textured silicone faceseal and strong body construction. This respirator has been NIOSH-APPROVED, meaning that the USA federal government regulatory agency, NIOSH, has tested and approved the 6501 model with 3M cartridges, filters, or supplied air systems to help reduce the inhalation of certain airborne contaminants.
The respirator features a RESILIENT TEXTURED SILICONE FACESEAL, which helps provide a soft yet firm seal, ensuring comfort, durability, and stability, even in hot work conditions. It maintains its shape effectively.
Additionally, the PROPRIETARY COOL FLOW VALVE helps reduce heat and moisture, with the exhalation valve cover directing exhaled breath and moisture downward to minimize fogging of eyewear and grinding and welding shields.
The LOW PROFILE, half facepiece design offers a wider field of view and better compatibility with welding and grinding shields.
The ADJUSTABLE 4 point head harness assembly provides an improved fit and enhanced comfort for the user.
This respirator is RECOMMENDED FOR INDUSTRIES including construction, general manufacturing, heavy infrastructure, industrial maintenance, mining, oil and gas, transportation, and more.
For industrial and occupational use, the respirator is designed to be used WITH BAYONET CONNECTION CARTRIDGES & FILTERS. Specifically, it can be used with 3M 6000 Series Gas/Vapor Cartridges to help filter a broad range of gases and vapors, and 3M Particle Filters 2000, 2200, 7000, or 5000 Series to filter certain particulates.
It is important to note that this respirator is FOR INDUSTRIAL/OCCUPATIONAL USE ONLY and is not intended for consumer sale or use.
