The stand-away head harness allows for easy donning and doffing, and the lens stays away from flat surfaces when laid down, preventing scratches.
Included with the respirator is a tear-away lens protector. The lens meets ANSI Z87+ standards for high-impact requirements, and the entire product, including its packaging, is 100% PVC-free, providing a greener alternative.
The 7400 Ammonia/Methylamine Cartridge is NIOSH approved for use against ammonia and methylamine. It can be used with gas-proof goggles or the Moldex 9000 Full Face respirator when working with ammonia. This cartridge is compatible with the 7000, 7800, and 9000 series respirators, and its keyless bayonet-style attachment makes assembly quick and easy.
The 9000 Series respirator weighs less than 13 ounces, making it ultra-lightweight. Workers will appreciate the comfort and longer wearability, while employers will benefit from increased user acceptance. Donning and doffing the 9000 mask is a breeze, thanks to the convenient ratchet fastening strap system and the stand-away head harness. The strap tabs are securely molded directly to the flange for rugged use.
The 9000 respirator features an extra-wide viewing lens with an exclusive over-molded flange design, eliminating the traditional clamping frame found on most other face pieces. Furthermore, the 9000 is completely metal-free, making it ideal for use in mines, refineries, and other work environments where metal may be hazardous.
Maintaining the 9000 Series respirator has never been easier. Its advanced design eliminates unnecessary parts, and the over-molded flange and harness tabs, along with the integrated exhalation assembly, simplify the cleaning and maintenance process.
The 7400 Ammonia/Methylamine Cartridge is commonly used in the manufacture of fertilizer, textiles, paper or rubber, synthetic resins, pharmaceuticals, pesticides, extraction of metal ores, treatment of scrap metal, petroleum refining, photographic chemicals, blueprinting, electroplating, and the production of dyes.
