The 3M Particulate Respirator 9205+, N95 is a disposable respirator designed to provide reliable respiratory protection of at least 95 percent filtration efficiency against certain non-oil based particles. The lightweight, three-panel design offers quality, reliable, and convenient worker respiratory protection.
3M utilizes a variety of innovative technologies and features to meet respiratory protection and comfort needs. The proprietary 3M Advanced Electret Media filter media captures dust and other particles while allowing for easy breathing. The soft inner material provides added comfort, and the soft nose foam and adjustable nose clip help create a custom seal.
Unique features of the Aura Series Particulate Respirators include a sculpted nose panel that follows the contours of the nose, allowing more room for eyewear. The embossed top panel is designed to help reduce the fogging of eyewear from warm, moist exhaled air. Additionally, the innovative chin tab is designed for easy positioning, donning, and adjustment.
The three-panel flat fold design is collapse resistant, and the individual packaging allows for easy storage prior to use. These respirators are NIOSH approved for at least 95% filtration efficiency against certain non-oil based particles, such as dust.
It is important to note that respirators are intended to help protect against certain airborne contaminants, and all local regulations must be followed. In the U.S., a written respiratory protection program must be implemented, meeting the requirements of OSHA 29 CFR 1910.134, including training, fit testing, and medical evaluation.
